Tether’s open Mining Development Kit has won support from 15 major mining companies and projects, including Bitmain, Canaan, MicroBT, F2Pool and Block’s Proto. The goal: one control layer for fragmented Bitcoin mining infrastructure.

  • Each partner will build a MDK Worker connecting hardware, pools or software.
  • The toolkit covers miners, sensors, cooling and power systems through one interface.
  • MDK 0.11 arrives for Plan B Forum on October 23–24; version 1.0 is planned by year-end.

LaunchBar take: this is not another mining dashboard—it is a potential operating-system layer for industrial Bitcoin mining. Standardization could unlock smarter automation and AI-controlled farms; infrastructure tokens and mining-tech names deserve attention before adoption data catches up.
